Bio: Keith O’Neal
Keith has traveled the world speaking to adults and youth in conferences, camps, crusades, churches and public schools. He is an internationally known trumpet player and singer and incorporates his music and humor into his presentations. He is best known for his work with young people and is considered a leading advocate for youth worldwide. He has also served as a public school consultant to 21 school districts in Mid-Michigan.
Keith’s involvement in the community includes:
- Party 4 Life, an area New Years Eve program that drew over 2000 high school and middle school students each year.
- The Positive Action Award that partnered with McDonalds to reward Students for achieving academically and for doing good deeds that positively impacted the people of their community.
- Founder and director of C.A.U.S.E. (Caring Adults Urging Student Excellence) a mentorship program and home-work support program to assist students in need of guidance
- The Founding Pastor of City Of Hope Church
- A.S.A.P. (Area Students Against Prejudice)
- Creator and Director of "If You Don't Wear It Share It Coat Drive" in Mid-Michigan
- Led the efforts to raise $70,000.00 Bring Jared Home, Mid-Michigan’s version of an extreme makeover
- Chaplain For The Flint Generals Professional Hockey Team
- Provided music for the Mike Huckabee Presidential Campaign (2008)
- Team Chaplain for numerous high school football programs over the past 25 years
- Creator of Candy Mountain, a Halloween alternative for children with over 2,500 children attending in a town of 2,200 people...
- Served as a lead consultant to launch the Joplin Disaster Relief Center that continues to help that community rebuild their homes and their lives after a catastrophic F-5 tornado…
His work in the community has earned him awards such as the Priority Children Roy E. Peterson Caring Adult Award and the Martin Luther King Drum Major Award. His work has also gained the recognition of numerous public officials.
